How to read the map

Every player you can line up in LaLiga Fantasy is a bubble — 537 of them, across the 20 clubs. The area of the bubble is the player's market value, so the biggest bubbles are the most expensive players in the game. The colour is how that price moved over the range you pick: green if the player went up, red if they went down, grey if the price did not move.

Colour intensity is scaled to the 90th percentile of the day's moves, so a quiet night still shows contrast instead of a flat map. Prices are recalculated overnight, so the reference is always the last DIFFERENT price rather than the previous snapshot: a grey bubble means that player genuinely has not moved, never that the data is missing.

Switch to Value and the size becomes points per million instead of euros. That is the view no ranking table gives you: the cheap defender quietly returning more per million than a superstar is suddenly the biggest bubble on the screen, and you find him without reading a single number.

Common questions

Where do the prices come from?

From the LaLiga Fantasy market and player endpoints, refreshed every 15 minutes. LaLiga itself only recalculates prices overnight, so during the day the map shows last night's move.

Why are some players missing?

Only players you can actually field are shown. Players flagged as out of the league — transferred out, no longer registered — and the head coaches are excluded. Without that filter about a third of the map would be cards you cannot line up.

What does points per million mean?

A player's fantasy points divided by their market value in millions of euros. It answers the only question that matters when your budget is fixed: how much scoring am I getting for what I am spending. A player can be the best in the game and still be poor value.

What is the streak?

The number of consecutive days a player's price has risen or fallen. Three nights of rises is a very different signal from one big jump, and it is the pattern managers actually trade on.

What does the Gameweek view show?

Bubble size becomes the points each player has scored in the current gameweek, updating while the matches are being played. Market and Value answer what to buy; Gameweek answers how the players you already own are doing right now.
